Measures to Prevent Driving the Wrong Way
As driving the wrong way on expressways can cause fatal accidents, we promote measures to prevent unreasonable turning and wrong-way driving, including the installation of rubber poles at merging point to main lane, arrows and signs indicating the correct direction, and coloring of flat tarmac road surfaces at level crossing point of Y-shaped interchanges.

Measures for the Prevention of Pedestrians and Bicyclists Entering Restricted Areas
We marked “Keep Out” on road surfaces, on shoulders, and installed caution signboards at the entrances from general roads to expressways, as countermeasures to prevent entry by pedestrians and bicyclists onto the main lanes of expressways.

Promotion of Traffic Safety
We promote safe driving through traffic safety campaigns and events in cooperation with local police and traffic safety councils. Through the provision of posters, flyers, and leaflets, we also conduct various PR activities such as calling for caution when driving on expressways, the observation of traffic laws and regulations, and manner-improvement.
