Four-lane operation commenced on a portion of the E38 Doto Expressway between Tomamu IC and Tokachi Shimizu IC on November 7th.
On Friday, November 7, 2025, at 5:00 AM, a section (approximately 4 km) of the E38 Doto Expressway between Tomamu IC and Tokachi Shimizu IC (approximately 21 km) began operating with four lanes, specifically near Tokachi Shimizu IC.
We will continue to proceed with the four-lane expansion project, prioritizing safety above all else, in order to contribute to the revitalization of Tokachi and the entire eastern Hokkaido region.
