[A first for the Niigata four-lane project] A completion ceremony was held for the Hoshuzan Tunnel

The Hoshusan Tunnel (631 meters long), which has been under construction on Ban-Etsu Expressway Interchange and the Yasuda Interchange, has been completed. This marks the first tunnel completion in Ban-Etsu Expressway four-lane expansion project.
At the commemorative ceremony, construction workers and local elementary school students celebrated the completion of the new section by participating in the first run-through and carrying a portable shrine. We will continue to work diligently to ensure the progress of the four-lane expansion project.
