Construction details

Planned and large-scale repairs should be carried out on the superstructure (floor slab) of the bridge against deformations caused by the progress of aging, salt damage caused by antifreezing agents and flying salt, and fatigue caused by heavy traffic. This suppresses the progress of deformation and the occurrence of new deformation.

A deck is a structural member that directly supports automobiles passing through bridges and transmits the load to the girder.

Utilization of load zipper system

In this work, the installation position of the median strip (concrete protective fence) will be switched by moving it using a dedicated vehicle. As a result, the number of lanes will be changed according to the time of day when there are many customers, and traffic congestion due to construction restrictions in the morning and evening will be alleviated.

Vehicles for construction work may enter and leave the area around the construction site, so please be careful when traveling ahead.
