As an orderer, our company makes planning and investment decisions regarding Expressway, determines technical standards and various conditions, and then orders survey and design work to design consultants, proposes specific structures and specifications, and makes design drawings. will be created. In addition, after the survey and design are completed, we place an order for construction work with the construction company/manufacturer, and manage and manage the construction work to proceed smoothly through confirmation of the construction plan, construction method judgment, and process, quality, and safety management. Several to more than a dozen construction projects must be completed before Expressway is put into service, and the management of schedules and construction costs until the entire route is put into service is an important task for our employees.

The group companies mainly perform on-site operations (management and operation of service areas and parking areas, toll collection, traffic management, maintenance inspections, maintenance and repairs, etc.) as the "face of NEXCO EAST". On the other hand, our company conducts planning, policy decisions, and management for group companies to carry out on-site operations. In the workplace, our employees and group company employees work together.

Regular patrols on Expressway are carried out by our group companies, so our employees do not carry out regular patrols. However, in the following cases, employees may ride in a patrol car.

About work style and welfare

In order to improve the careers of employees through various work experiences, there are transfers roughly once every two to three years. However, as this includes transfers within the same office, not all transfers involve moving.

Once a year, employees prepare a "personal report" and meet with their superiors regarding their desired work location, work content, etc. Transfers will be determined by comprehensively taking into consideration the individual's aptitude, ability, wishes, and individual circumstances such as child-rearing and nursing care. Approximately 50% of our employees are assigned to institutions in the Kanto region, and the Kanto and Tohoku regions combined account for approximately 80%.
