The dormitory and company housing system is wonderful. I am happy that I can live a healthy life because my dormitory mother cooks for me.

The average number of vacation days taken by NEXCO EAST from 2018 to 2021 was 23.1 days. We encourage all employees to use paid holidays so that they can not only work but also lead a fulfilling life. We will continue to strive to create systems and environments that make it easier for employees to take leave, so that each and every employee, regardless of age, can take a good rest, refreshed, and play an active role in the workplace.

I apply for paid leave in advance, finish what I need to do by that day, and enjoy myself to the fullest during my vacation. We encourage the entire company to take time off, so don't hesitate to apply.

During the ONE on ONE meeting with my boss, I am asked if I can take a break recently, so I think it is an environment where even new graduates and young employees can easily take time off. When I look at my seniors, I get the impression that many of them have a well-balanced work style, working hard when they are working and taking time off.

There are 55 female employees who gave birth in the three years from 2018 to 2021, and after taking childcare leave, all of them returned to work while making use of in-house systems such as shortened working hours.
The postpartum return rate for female employees is 100% (fiscal 2021 results).
In recent years, male employees are also actively taking childcare leave, and the number is increasing every year.
In addition, employees who have reported pregnancy or childbirth hold childcare support interviews with their superiors to encourage employees to take maternity and childcare leave. We also offer e-learning courses on childcare leave to support employees raising children in the workplace. In order to make it easier for employees to use childcare leave and other work-life balance support systems, we are working to spread awareness within the company and encourage employees to take such leave.

After my second child was born, I took 10 days of childcare leave. There were many people around me who had children, and there was an atmosphere in the workplace where they wanted to take childcare leave. There were some jobs with fixed deadlines, but thanks to the cooperation of the members around me, I was able to get them without delay. When I returned to work, the members warmly welcomed me, and I was able to return to work smoothly.

Since both of my parents were working, I decided to give birth at a hospital near my residence instead of going home to give birth. I took childcare leave in order to balance housework and childcare without receiving support from my parents. During childcare leave, I was able to see my child's growth up close, and I learned a lot by working on housework and childcare. Even after returning to work, I have been able to work in a way that suits me while consulting with people around me, such as changing my working hours and using telework.

A cafeteria plan is a service that provides employees with a certain amount of points and allows them to freely select welfare benefits within the range of points. You can use it for a wide range of plans such as health, travel, childcare, and self-development. In fiscal 2021, the redemption rate of the points paid to employees exceeded 90%, and they are used to support the fulfilling lives of employees, from subsidies for domestic accommodation facilities to medical expenses.
User's voice
There are many types of points that you can use, such as lodging expenses for travel, ski lift tickets, and expenses for self-development, so it is helpful for your wallet.
Facility/equipment employees
Recently, I feel that it was very good that some of the computer purchase costs, utility costs, and communication charges were applied according to the working environment such as telework.
