NEXCO EAST conducts a wide variety of training programs to deepen the understanding of the company's wide range of businesses and the roles of many departments and occupations, and to acquire the specialized knowledge, techniques and skills necessary for each task.

In order to develop employees with specialized knowledge and skills over the medium to long term, we subsidize the expenses required for taking correspondence courses and acquiring qualifications.
There are a total of 228 distance learning courses eligible for subsidies.

We have prepared courses in a wide range of fields, from specialized courses such as tax accountants and architects to courses to acquire skills necessary for working people such as time management and work efficiency, and employees themselves select according to their goals and plans.
Acquisition of qualification
The company subsidizes the costs (examination fees, tuition fees, and registration fees) required to acquire more than 80 qualifications necessary or related to work, and promotes the acquisition of specialized knowledge by employees.
With the aim of cultivating global human resources who will lead the development of overseas business, we have established a system for domestic English conversation training and overseas study abroad.
Regarding studying abroad Any employee with three years or more of work experience can participate in internal recruitment, and if approved, can receive a loan for expenses necessary for attending and completing school, such as admission and tuition fees.
We also provide an opportunity to take the TOEIC test once a year for up to three years after joining the company, and all employees are fully covered for the TOEIC test fee.

Comprehensive Technology Center
In March 2020, the "NEXCO EAST General Technology Center" was opened on the premises of the Iwatsuki Interchange on Tohoku Expressway.
In addition to researching "snow and ice technology", which is an important issue for NEXCO EAST, we have developed the latest equipment that can perform performance verification of "structural inspection technology" and "non-destructive inspection technology" under development.
Introduced the latest technologies such as VR, AR, and 3D, experience and hands-on training facilities that deepen understanding of the deterioration mechanism of structures and changes in technical standards, as well as ETC equipment and other on-site environment for toll operations as it is It also has refurbished facilities. In addition to supplementing on-site experience, we aim to develop more advanced engineers and improve their technical capabilities.
