NEXCO EAST(The Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) the 12th fiscal year of 2016 2017 We will inform you of the summary of financial results for the March period.
This year will be one year from April 1, 2016 to March 31, 2017.
Point of 2016 financial statements (consolidated)
- Expressway business, toll revenues increased due to new opening, but operating revenue was 954.5 billion yen (down 56.0 billion yen year-on-year) due to a decrease in completed road assets. On the other hand, operating expenses were 937.3 billion yen (down 59.8 billion yen year-on-year) due to a decrease in the cost of completed road assets, despite an increase in management expenses due to new openings. As a result, the Expressway business posted operating income of 17.1 billion yen (13.3 billion yen in the previous year).
- Operating income from all businesses was 19 billion yen (15.9 billion yen in the previous year).
- Net income attributable to shareholders of the parent company was 24.2 billion yen (14.2 billion yen in the previous fiscal year), as it recorded income tax adjustments related to the substitutional return of the employee pension fund in fiscal 2017.
