When passing through the ETC lane, the roadside display shows "STOP stopped" and the open/close bar does not open is often due to the following cases. Please check again before riding.
- Case where the ETC card is not properly inserted in the onboard unit and is not recognized correctly
- Case where the ETC card has expired
If "STOP" is displayed but you open the open/close bar and pass through it, please contact us.
If you have passed the entrance ETC lane (a toll gate that issues toll tickets)
ETC lanes are not available at the exit toll gates, so please proceed to the regular lane or mixed lane where there is a staff member and tell us so.
If you have passed the exit ETC lane (a toll booth where you are charged for tolls)

- If the roadside display shows "STOP stopped" and the open/close bar does not open, you may not be able to run the ETC next time depending on the cause, so please check what reaction the vehicle-mounted device showed when passing the ETC lane (Error The display method of the contents etc. differs depending on the in-vehicle device, so please check the instruction manual of your in-vehicle device.)
・If you replace the vehicle or change the number, you will need to re-set up the vehicle-mounted device.
When the onboard device is transferred to another vehicle or the number of the vehicle equipped with the onboard device is changed, the information registered in the onboard device is different from the actual vehicle. Setup) is required. For re-setup, please consult a car dealer, car accessories store, or the nearest setup store (Road System Advancement Promotion Organization). If you continue to use the card without re-setting it, you may not be able to get the appropriate discount because it violates the ETC system usage rules that are stipulated in the ETC card usage agreements. Furthermore, please note that the use of ETC may be suspended or treated as illegal traffic.
Safe driving of ETC motorcycles (for motorcycle ETC customers)
In order to ensure safety, please reduce the speed of the ETC lane (20 km/h or less) at any time to ensure safety.
