Notice of restrictions on the use of some parking lots due to temporary shop and temporary toilet installation work

NEXCO EAST　Utsunomiya Management Office (Kanuma City, Tochigi Prefecture) will be installing temporary stores and toilets at Tohoku Expressway (" Tohoku Expressway") Sano Service Area ("SA") (In-bound line) in preparation for the renovation of commercial facilities and toilets scheduled for next spring or later.
During the construction work, the use of a portion of the parking lot will be restricted, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to our customers.

1. Some parking lot restrictions apply

Tohoku Expressway Sano Service Area (In-bound line)

• Attached to each line E4 The indications such as indicate the route number (numbering) of Expressway.

2. Period (planned)

October 10, 2020 (Tuesday) to late March 2020

• The period may change depending on the progress of construction.
• The scope of construction steps and parking lot usage restrictions (construction area) is 4. It is as follows.
• During the construction period, parking lots are expected to be crowded, so please consider using nearby rest facilities according to your Expressway usage plans.
• From next spring onwards, we plan to begin renovation work on commercial facilities and restrooms, open temporary shops, and begin operating temporary toilets. We will notify you separately regarding restrictions on the use of parking lots, etc. at that time.

3． Construction overview

In preparation for the renovation of commercial facilities and restrooms scheduled for next spring, a portion of the parking lot will be designated as a construction area to install temporary shops and toilets.

Four. Construction steps and scope of parking lot usage restrictions

The construction area will be temporarily fenced off to ensure safety, but please be careful when using commercial facilities, restrooms, etc. Also, please drive within the parking lot according to local information signs.

Five. Available facilities

During the construction period, commercial facilities, accommodation facilities (E-NEXCO LODGE), restrooms, vending machines, and EV quick charging stations can be used as usual.
