As part of a roadside station temporary exit social experiment being conducted within the jurisdiction of East Nippon Expressway Co., Ltd. (NEXCO EAST), it has been discovered that the toll adjustments have not yet been reflected for some customers. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused our customers.
We will continue to investigate the affected trips and provide refunds etc.
1. Target customers
2025年7月2日(水)~7月7日(月)の間に、ETCクレジットカードまたはETCパーソナルカードをETC2.0車載器にセットのうえ、以下対象ICにて一時退出※されたお客さま
- Temporary exit means using the designated interchange as the entry/exit interchange, stopping at a designated roadside station, and then re-entering in the same direction within two hours.

2. Cause
Due to a malfunction in the temporary exit management device managed by Central Nippon Expressway Co., Ltd. (NEXCO CENTRAL), toll adjustments were not reflected at the above-mentioned affected locations of NEXCO EAST, which uses this device.

Four. Refund procedure
We will proceed with the refund process for the difference between the adjusted fee and the new fee for all affected customers (no request from the customer is required).
The difference will be refunded by deducting it from your future billing amount via the credit card company you used when you passed through. For customers who have used ETC mileage service rebates, the difference will be refunded by adding it back to the ETC mileage service rebate you used.
