NEXCO EAST Hokkaido Regional Head Office (Atsubetsu-ku, Sapporo) will begin selling tickets for the Dorawari "HOKKAIDO LOVE! Michitoku Free Pass B Period" (abbreviated as Michitoku) for use from December 2025 to March 2026 from 2:00 p.m. today.
Furthermore, until December 6th (Sat), 2025 (last day of use is November 30th (Sun)), you can still use the Dorawari "HOKKAIDO LOVE! Michitoku Free Pass A Period" (free access to all Expressway within Hokkaido). Please consider this as well.

1. Period of Use

Monday, December 1, 2020 - Thursday, April 2, 2020 (Last start date of use: Tuesday, March 31)

• There are periods when the service is unavailable, such as during periods of heavy traffic congestion.

2. Plans and sales prices

• Free access to Expressway in the "North Hokkaido", "East Hokkaido", and "South Hokkaido" areas
• The sales price is the same for the three plans "North Hokkaido", "East Hokkaido", and "South Hokkaido"

3. 3. How to apply

Applications will be accepted starting today, November 6th (Thursday) at 2pm. Please apply through "DraPla" before you start using Expressway. Applications can be made on the day of your trip, as long as you apply before you start driving on the Expressway.

4. Important points to note when using the service

1. This product cannot be cancelled or refunded after you have started using it, so please check the weather and traffic information carefully before setting off. You can cancel the contract before driving on Expressway.
2. Even if the toll fee during the usage period is less than the "Dotoku" fee, the difference will not be refunded.
   Depending on the distance and time of day you travel, it may be cheaper to use the ETC discount rather than the Michitoku plan, so please consider this carefully before applying.

With the aim of promoting driving tourism within Hokkaido, we have published the "Hokkaido Driving Guide" and are distributing it free of charge at SA/PA, roadside stations, New Chitose Airport, and other locations within Hokkaido.
The Hokkaido Driving Guide is a compact information booklet that contains useful information for driving, such as restaurants and tourist facilities throughout Hokkaido, and what to do in emergencies on Expressway. A web version is also available that can be viewed for free on PCs and smartphones.
By showing the magazine or the online version, you can receive special benefits such as discounts at the featured facilities. Please make use of the Hokkaido Driving Guide, which is packed with information to make your everyday drives even more enjoyable.

1. ETC Mileage Service Point Plus Campaign
   We are currently running a campaign in which if you apply for and use our Dorawari discount for a period of use only on weekdays, you will receive an additional 15% of the Dorawari sales price in ETC mileage points.

2. E-NEXCO points giveaway
   Customers using the E-NEXCO pass will receive 50 E-NEXCO points in addition to the regular points.

7. Please drive safely in winter

1. Road conditions may change suddenly due to temperature differences between day and night, snowfall, etc. Please drive safely according to the weather and road conditions, and equip your vehicle with winter equipment such as winter tires as soon as possible.
2. When changing to winter tires, it is easy for tires to come off the road. Please check that the nuts are not loose and also check the air pressure of the replaced tires to prevent accidents where the tires come off the road and tire bursts.
3. On snowy roads, even a slight mistake in driving can cause you to lose control of your vehicle. Please drive carefully and avoid sudden maneuvers such as sudden acceleration, sudden steering, and sudden braking.
4. Snowy and icy roads are slippery, and it is said that when driving at 40 km/h, packed snow is 3.2 times more slippery and slick ice is 8 times more slippery than dry roads in other seasons. Winter roads are very slippery, so please make sure to maintain a sufficient distance between vehicles.

5. Whiteouts, which occur when strong winds cause ground blizzards or snow particles reflecting sunlight, can instantly block your vision and be extremely dangerous. Accidents may occur ahead where visibility clears, so when you encounter a whiteout, maintain a sufficient distance between vehicles and slow down. Also, to prevent rear-end collisions, turn on your hazard lights and signal to following vehicles.
6. In order to avoid being caught in an unexpected blizzard or drifting snow, it is important to gather information not only on the day of your trip, but several days in advance. Check the weather and traffic information in advance with "DraTra".
