NEXCO EAST Tohoku Regional Head Office (Miyagi Ward, Sendai City) has suspended operation of emergency telephones in part of Regional Head Office jurisdiction, but due to aging equipment and a shift in usage to mobile phones, the suspension will be gradually Large to the following sections from November 2025. Emergency telephones installed in tunnels and rest facilities (SA/PA) will continue to operate.

We ask for your understanding and cooperation in using the "Road Emergency Dial" (#9910) in case of an emergency.

• The signs such as E4A attached to each route indicate the route number (numbering) of Expressway, etc.

"#9910 (Road Emergency Dial)" can be used from any mobile phone regardless of location, and a reporting service via the LINE app has also been launched since March 2024.
Emergency telephones will continue to be available outside of the suspended sections, so please use them in addition to "#9910 (Road Emergency Dial)".
