NEXCO EAST Hokkaido Regional Head Office (Atsubetsu-ku, Sapporo) will partially switch off road lighting equipment on some sections of the E5 Do-O Expressway (Dōō Expressway) and the E5A Sasson Expressway (Sapporo-Otaru Expressway) starting April 20, 2026.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
1. Sections where road lighting equipment is partially turned off

2. Details of road lighting equipment outages
The road lighting, which was installed for safety purposes during winter snowfall, will be turned off during periods other than winter.
The area where the lights will be turned off will be the area excluding the merging and diverging sections of interchanges (ICs).
