[E51] Partial completion of construction work at Chiba Kita Interchange Higashi-Kanto Expressway
Notice of revision of the period for partial all-day closure of ETC lanes.

　Regarding the ETC equipment upgrade work being conducted at the entrance to the Chiba-Kita Interchange (hereinafter “IC”) on the E51 Higashi-Kanto Expressway (hereinafter “East Kanto Expressway”), construction on the ETC lane on the left side of the entrance was completed today, July 17, at 2:00 p.m. We would like to thank our customers for their understanding and cooperation during the construction period.
However, in light of traffic conditions on surrounding roads, such as National Route 16, we are revising our construction schedule. Consequently, the work on the ETC lane on the right side of the entrance, which had been scheduled for late August or later, will be postponed. We will announce the resumption date as soon as it is determined. Additionally, the schedule for the partial all-day closure of the exit ETC lane, which was planned in conjunction with the aforementioned work, will be changed as follows.

Construction on the left side of the entrance was completed today, July 17th, at 2 PM. Construction on the right side of the entrance, which was scheduled for late August or later, has been postponed.

We will be switching between different construction areas at the ETC lanes at the exit, and will be closing some sections for the entire day.

   June to December 2020
   Some areas will be closed all day.
