East Nippon Expressway Co., Ltd. has been carrying out full-scale restoration work for the Niigata Chuetsu Earthquake from June 28, 2005, but the last one day and night continuous lane regulation was performed at 13:00 on December 26 (Monday). We will inform you that the pavement work in the section of (No. Nagaoka Interchange (IC) and between Yamaya Parking Area (PA) and Ojiya IC) will be completed. As a result, all lane restrictions due to the earthquake restoration work that has been ongoing since the October 23, 2004 earthquake will be lifted, and four lanes will be allowed in all sections.

After the earthquake, special vehicles with a total vehicle weight of over 25 tons were restricted between Koide IC and Nagaoka IC. It will be canceled at 13:00 on the 26th (Mon) of the month.

For a long period of time, due to continuous day and night restrictions and traffic restrictions on special vehicles, we apologize for any inconvenience caused to customers using the Expressway. Thank you for your cooperation.
