NEXCO EAST (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) is DraPla to announce that it has launched Japan's first (*) accelerator program "Expressway company and has started recruiting partner companies today.
In this program, aiming to develop and commercialize solutions that lead to solutions to various social issues, Expressway, service areas and parking areas (hereinafter referred to as SA / PA) and verification budgets that we own. Utilizing this, we will work on co-creation and social implementation of new services and products with partner companies.
We are waiting for applications from partner companies that create new value together with us.

1. 1. Background of program implementation

We have pursued the "safety and security" and "comfort and convenience" of our customers, and have supported the movement of people and goods as an infrastructure company that connects regions. However, in today's society, where society is undergoing major changes due to the evolution of technology and the diversification of values, Expressway will provide "new value" for the movement of people and goods from the existence that "supports" movement. We would like to transform ourselves into an existence that "does" and realize sustainable management.
Based on this recognition, we have decided to promote the development and commercialization of new services that will lead to the solution of social issues, together with companies that take on the challenge of creating innovation by making full use of the latest technologies and business models. ..
"DraPla Innovation Lab" is Expressway our jurisdiction, fields such as 328 SA / PA, various resources of our company, and verification budget. It is a program that aims to solve social issues by creating businesses and implementing and commercializing them in society.

2. Recruitment theme

This program is looking for partner companies on the following three themes.

1. Human and object movement updates

   • Realization of "safety and security" in a new transportation society
   • Providing value through new "comfortable and convenient" movement
   • Creating a future mobile experience



2. From "a place to rest" to "a place to support the local economy" for SA / PA
   (Co-creation example)
   • Creating a place to revitalize the local community
   • Creating and disseminating the appeal of the region
   • New ways to use Expressway



3. Realization of sustainable business operations
   (Co-creation example)
   • Realization of a carbon-free society
   • Countermeasures and prediction of natural disasters
   • Building a sound material-cycle society
