Regarding Expressway toll levels, in the "New Basic Policy on Expressway Tolls (revised on December 22, 2021)" published by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, there are three types of expressway toll levels: regular sections, sections near metropolitan areas, and special sections such as areas such as straits. It has been announced that the three toll levels will continue, and that the corresponding reduction in toll levels will continue to apply to ETC vehicles.

In response to this, East Nippon Expressway Co., Ltd., Central Expressway, Ltd., West Expressway Co., Ltd., and Honshu-Shikoku Connecting Expressway Co., Ltd. will adopt three toll levels based on the impact on the redemption of Expressway debt. The reduction in toll levels associated with this will continue for 10 years (until March 31, 2020) for ETC vehicles, and will be implemented on March 27, 2020 based on Article 3 of the Road Improvement Special Measures Act. We would like to inform you that we received a business license from the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism on the same day.
