NEXCO EAST Hokkaido Regional Head Office (Sapporo City Atsubetsu-ku, Regional Head Office president: Katsuji Kubotera) has moved the construction position of bridge substructure (abutment/pier) due to construction work between Yubari IC and Hobetsu IC (tentative name) on the Hokkaido Transverse Expressway. I confirmed that. In the future, we will investigate the cause and implement countermeasures as soon as possible.
1 Situation
We were informed that some of the abutments and piers that were constructed during the construction work between the Yubari IC and the Hobetsu IC (tentative name) on the Trans-Hokkaido Expressway were misaligned from the positions where they should have been installed.
As a result, it was confirmed that the abutment and pier of the next one bridge were installed about 20 cm away from the position where they should have originally been installed.
We will investigate the cause and implement countermeasures as soon as possible.
