In preparation for a large-scale disaster, the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force Northern Division and NEXCO EAST have signed an implementation agreement today regarding cooperation in the event of a disaster.
1 Agreement name
"Implementation Agreement on Cooperation between the Ground Self-Defense Force Northern Area Corps and East Nippon Expressway Co., Ltd."
2 Purpose
The purpose of this agreement is to ensure that the GSDF Northern Division and NEXCO EAST cooperate smoothly in the event of a disaster.
3 Agreement contents (outline)
- Sharing damage information
- Support for SDF disaster dispatch activities by NEXCO EAST etc.
- Support for emergency recovery (road enlightenment) of damaged Expressway by the Self-Defense Forces
- Regular meetings and training
