NEXCO EAST Tomakomai Management Office (Tomakomai City) will carry out the following crime prevention training jointly with the Muroran Police Station for the Hokkaido Police Department Sapporo.

The purpose of this training is to verify the crime prevention system at the toll booths on the Expressway toward the end of the year and new year, to raise the awareness of crime prevention among toll booth employees, and to establish appropriate emergency measures and an emergency contact system.

A robber who pretended to be a customer threatened a tollgate employee with a pistol,
(1) Take away cash in the booth and escape. (2) Take away cash from the tollgate office and escape.
