We are pleased to announce that as part of the promotion of the "Flowers and Greenery Peaceful Highway Garden® Project," NEXCO EAST Asahikawa Management Office (Asahikawa City) will be working with students from Hokkaido Fukagawa Higashi High School to plant flowers in the flower beds at the Otoe Parking Area (PA) on the Do-O Expressway, making it a more comfortable place for customers to use.

30 second and third year students from the Production Science Department at Fukagawa Higashi High School in Hokkaido

4. Details of the project

With the cooperation of students from Hokkaido Fukagawa Higashi High School, we will plant flowers in the flower beds within the PA to beautifully decorate it. <Flower seedlings> Begonia (white, red, pink)

The "Highway Garden® Project: Relaxing Flowers and Greenery" aims to transform rest areas and parks into more accessible and comfortable spaces, while also developing "Highway Garden®" with the aim of creating a sense of local identity and facilitating cooperation with the local community, in order to provide customers with a more relaxing and healing space.
