NEXCO EAST Hokkaido Regional Head Office (Atsubetsu-ku, Sapporo) would like to inform you that it will reopen some of the interchanges that were closed following the 2018 Hokkaido Eastern Iburi Earthquake that occurred around 3:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 6, 2018.
We will continue to close the entrances and exits of some interchanges due to congestion due to signal blackouts on the connected general roads.
Please check the latest traffic information before using.
We apologize for the inconvenience and ask for your understanding and cooperation.
1. Interchange closure status
-As of 6:45 PM on Thursday, September 6th-

- E5 Canceled at 18:45 on the exit of Sapporo IC on the Do-O Expressway (direction Sapporo)
[Closed IC (continued)]
- [1] E5 Do-O Expressway Kita-Hiroshima IC inlet and outlet (both directions)
- [2] E5 Do-O Expressway Chitose IC exit (both directions)
- [3] E5A Sasson Expressway Shinkawa IC exit (Otaru direction)
The above [2] to [3] will be reopened one by one as soon as the congestion on the connecting public roads is resolved.
