NEXCO EAST Hokkaido Regional Head Office (Atsubetsu-ku, Sapporo) will implement three initiatives from Monday, July 13th to Wednesday, July 22nd, in conjunction with the summer traffic safety campaign, with the aim of eradicating drunk driving and preventing traffic accidents, and will call on customers using Expressway to be safe on the roads.

We will invite approximately 40 students from Kitahiroshima City Seibu Elementary School to learn about the sites that support traffic safety through a tour of facilities such as the Hokkaido Regional Head Office Road Control Center and Do-O Expressway.
Furthermore, Monday, July 13th, which marks the first day of the summer traffic safety campaign, is designated as "Day to Eradicate Drunk Driving."
Don't drink and drive, don't let others drink and drive, don't tolerate it, and don't overlook it. To pass on this promise to the future, together with children, we will call on customers using Expressway to aim for zero drunk driving and strive to realize a society free from drunk driving.
- In the event of bad weather or an emergency, only the tour of the Road Control Center will be available.
(2)SA・PAおよびIC等での交通安全キャンペーン（街頭啓発・ノベルティ配布）
During the summer traffic safety campaign, we will be conducting traffic safety campaigns at service areas, parking areas, interchanges, and roadside stations throughout Hokkaido, in cooperation with the Hokkaido Prefectural Police, together with our manners promotion character, "Manatee."
Through street awareness campaigns and the distribution of promotional items, we aim to encourage safe driving among Expressway users and achieve zero traffic accidents.

The quiz will be based on our Regional Head Office 's key points for summer traffic safety campaign, and will ask questions about important points to keep in mind when using Expressway safely. The content is designed to help you learn useful knowledge about traffic safety and safe driving in a fun way, so please use it to improve your daily safe driving!
