NEXCO EAST In Kanto Regional Head Office (Taito-ku, Tokyo), Misato Minami Interchange (IC) of Gaikan Expressway (Outer Ring Road) is currently at Takatani Junction (JCT) (tentative name). ), construction is underway with the goal of opening in 2015.

In constructing the Keiyo JCT (tentative name) that connects this outer ring road and the Keiyo Road, we had been detouring between the Shinozaki gateway and Ichikawa IC on the Keiyo Road since December 2009 (a detour road). As part of it will be completed, we will carry out lane switching work to return the detour road (In-bound) to Tokyo to the original Keiyo Road position.

Due to traffic restrictions that reduce the number of lanes during construction, there may be periods when traffic congestion is expected.

When you go out, please allow yourself time and use the parallel detours to the Higashi-Kanto Expressway and public transportation. We apologize for the inconvenience, and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Overview of 1-lane switching work

  1. From Monday, April 9th to Sunday, June 10th, lane switching work will be carried out to restore the detour road (In-bound) heading for Tokyo to the original Keiyo Road position.
  2. From 20 am to 6 am on Monday, April 23, part of the Ichikawa IC's entrance ramp for Tokyo will be closed for construction. Ichikawa IC Please use the entrance from the Urayasu area and other ICs.

(3) Outline
We will carry out lane switching work due to road shoulder restrictions or lane restrictions.
From May 11, 2012 (Friday) to May 20, 2012 (Sunday) (including preliminary days), day and night continuous lane regulation will be performed. During the above period, the number of lanes that can be driven will decrease to 2 lanes during the day and 1 lane at night, so traffic congestion is expected.
*No construction will be carried out from April 27th to May 7th.
