ETC lane start control bar opening operation at toll gate entrance

NEXCO EAST Kanto Regional Head Office (Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture) announced on October 14, 2015 that the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism announced that it will start an experiment to open the ETC bar at Ken-O Road. ~Introducing a "smart toll gate without stress"~, we will try to open the start control bar at the toll gate entrance ETC lane at Ken-o Expressway (Ken-O Road) as follows. ..

The start control bar on the ETC lane remains open during the trial period.

• When an ETC error occurs
  • Even if an error occurs, the start control bar will remain open, so pay close attention to the following vehicles, check the safety, contact the staff using the intercom installed in the lane, and follow the staff's instructions.
  • ETC lanes are not available at the exit toll gates, so please proceed to the regular lane or mixed lane where there is a staff member and tell us so.

1 Trial location and implementation period

1. Ken-O Road Okegawa Kitamoto IC entrance ETC lane October 20th (Tuesday) to November 19th (Thursday), 2015
2. Ken-O Road Sayama Hidaka IC entrance ETC lane Friday, November 20, 2015 to Saturday, December 19

• The exit ETC lane will continue to operate as before.
