Opening of the Ken-O Road
The opening time between the Okegawa Kitamoto IC and Shiraoka Irisa IC of National Highway No. 468 Ken-o Expressway (Ken-O Road), where the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Kanto Regional Development Bureau and East Nippon Expressway Co., Ltd. are working together, is determined. Opening of Ageo Road
As for Ageo Road, the section that is currently open in 2 lanes will be opened in 4 lanes simultaneously with the opening of the Ken-O Road O Expressway.

Ken-O Road History of opening all lines in Saitama prefecture
- Ken-O Road The Saitama prefecture section will form a new east-west transportation axis within the prefecture and will connect major highways such as Kan-Etsu Expressway and Tohoku Expressway.
- In March 1996, the section between Ome IC and Tsurugashima JCT became the first open section on the Ken-O Road O Expressway, and it continued to extend thereafter. Due to the opening of Okegawa Kitamoto IC to Shiraoka Iris IC on October 31, 2015, all lines in the Saitama section of the Ken-O Road will be opened.

Overview of the Ken-O Road Expressway section
- Ken-o Expressway (Ken-O Road) is a total area planned to be located within a radius of 40-60km from the center of Tokyo for the purpose of facilitating road traffic in the metropolitan area and strengthening communication between cities along the line. It is a ring-shaped motorway with a length of about 300 km. To date, approximately 230 km have been opened.
