3. Construction overview

This is a repair work for the "Akaru-san" tunnel between Usui-Karuizawa IC and Saku IC (Out-bound line) on the Joshinetsu Expressway.

Since the lower part of the tunnel is damaged and the pavement surface is being damaged, full-scale repair work will be carried out before the traffic is affected.

Since it takes time to reinforce the damaged lower part of the tunnel body and it is necessary to construct each lane, we will carry out the construction under the day and night continuous lane regulation.

By reinforcing the lower part of the tunnel body, the structure of the tunnel is strengthened, and damage to the paved road surface is repaired to improve safety.
