Concept of name

The name of the PA, "Yaita Kita," is used to make it clear to the users of the smart IC that it is a smart IC dedicated to ETC and that it is an entrance / exit installed in an existing PA. It was called "Yaita Kita Smart Interchange".

Background to the name decision

This name was decided based on the opinion of the Road Sign Optimization Committee, which is organized by road managers in Tochigi Prefecture, after being examined by the "(tentative name) Yaita Kita Smart Interchange District Council" composed of Yaita City and others. Based on the draft, it was decided through the prescribed procedures by the Japan Expressway Holding and Debt Repayment Organization.
