NEXCO EAST Keihin Management Office (Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture), reverse run countermeasure construction will be carried out at the entrance ramp of the E16 Yokohama Yokosuka Road (hereinafter "Yokosuka Road") up and down line Kariba Interchange (hereinafter "IC"). Therefore, we will close it at night.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused to our customers, but we ask for your understanding and cooperation so that you will have time to spare when you go out.

2. Detour

Refer to the figure below for detours.

[When heading from Yokohama Station to Tomei Expressway, Hodogaya Bypass, Yokosuka Road, Yokosuka]
 As shown by the blue arrow, please use the Hodogaya Bypass Shinrakuragaoka IC.
If you detour between Kariba IC and Shinrakuragaoka IC via National Route 1 and Ring No. 2, it will take about 20 minutes (usually about 4 minutes).

[When heading from Yokohama Station to Yokohama-Shindo Road Tokyo / Mitsuzawa]
Yokohama-Shindo Road Imai IC as shown by the  pink arrow.
If you detour between Kariba IC and Imai IC via Route 1 and Loop Route 2, it will take about 18 minutes (usually about 4 minutes).

[When heading from Yokohama Station to Odawara]
Please use Route 1 as shown by the  yellow arrow.
If you detour between Kariba IC and Totsuka IC via Route 1, it will take about 20 minutes (usually about 7 minutes).

[When heading from Yokohama Station to Yokosuka]
 As shown by the brown arrow, please use the Yokosuka Hino IC.
If you detour between Kariba IC and Hino IC via National Route 1, Kanjo No. 2 and Prefectural Road 21, it will take about 25 minutes (usually about 6 minutes).

[When heading from Totsuka Station toward Daisan-Keihin Road Tokyo]
 As shown by the orange arrow, please use the Hazawa IC on Daisan Daisan-Keihin Road
If you detour between Kariba IC and Hazawa IC via Route 1, Route 16 and Ring No. 2, it will take about 23 minutes (usually about 10 minutes).

[When heading from Totsuka Station to Tomei Expressway, Hodogaya Bypass, Yokosuka Yokohama-Shindo Road]
 As shown by the light blue arrow, please use the Hodogaya Bypass Shinrakuragaoka IC.
If you detour between Kariba IC and Shinrakuragaoka IC via Route 1, Route 16 and Ring No. 2, it will take about 20 minutes (usually about 4 minutes).

Detours will increase the time required, so please take time to go out.

3. Construction overview

At the entrance ramp of the Kariba IC on the horizontal and horizontal Expressway, we will carry out reverse-way driving countermeasures (road markings, color pavement) to prevent reverse-way driving accidents on the expressway. The section where this work is to be carried out is one lane, and it is not possible to carry out the work under normal lane regulations, so it is necessary to close the lamp and carry out the work.
Therefore, in order to avoid inconvenience to customers as much as possible, we will close the lamps on weekday nights when there is little traffic, and carry out the construction intensively and efficiently. Expressway safely and comfortably, so we ask for your understanding and cooperation.

Four. How to obtain traffic information

  • Notice signs, posters and leaflets will be posted at toll booths and rest facilities nearby.
