At NEXCO EAST Keihin Management Office (Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture), take the E16 Yokohama Yokosuka Road (hereinafter "Yokosuka Road") up and down line Sahara Interchange (hereinafter "IC") to Mabori Kaigan IC. We will close the road at night to inspect, clean, and repair the facilities and equipment in the tunnel and road structures.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused to our customers, but we ask for your understanding and cooperation so that you will have time to spare when you go out.

   21:00 pm-5 pm the next morning

   Preparation day:

   Reiwa 3 November 29th (Monday) -December 1st (Wednesday)

   Every day from 21:00 to 5am the next morning

• In stormy weather, it will be postponed to the spare day.

2. Detour

Please refer to the figure below for the detour.
If you detour between Yokosuka Road Sahara IC and Maborikaigan IC via National Route 16, National Route 134, and Prefectural Road 27, it will take about 10 minutes (usually about 4 minutes).
In addition, if you detour between the Yokosuka Road Sahara IC and Uraga IC via Prefectural Road 208, National Route 134, and Prefectural Road 27, it will take about 9 minutes (usually about 3 minutes).
The detour will take longer, so please leave plenty of time.

3. Construction overview

Between Sahara IC and Maborikaigan IC on the Yokosuka Road, we will inspect, clean, and repair road structures and inspect facilities in tunnels in order to keep the Expressway in good condition at all times.
The section where this work will be carried out is a section with one lane on each side, and since the work cannot be carried out under normal lane regulations when carrying out the work, it is necessary to close the main lane and carry out the work. In order not to cause any inconvenience to our customers, we will close the road at night when the traffic is light and carry out the construction intensively and efficiently. This work is necessary to use the Expressway safely and comfortably, so we ask for your understanding and cooperation.
