Background to the name decision

This name was examined by the "(tentative name) Chikuhoku Smart Interchange District Council" composed of Chikuhoku Village, etc., and the original name was decided based on the opinion of the Road Sign Optimization Committee, which is organized by road managers in Nagano Prefecture. Based on the above, the decision was made through the prescribed procedures by the Japan Expressway Holding and Debt Repayment Organization.
