East Nippon Expressway Co., Ltd., Ltd. Saku Management Office (Saku City, Nagano Prefecture, hereinafter "NEXCO EAST Saku (pipe)") and Chikuma Bus Co., Ltd. (Saku City, Nagano Prefecture, hereinafter "Chikuma Bus") facilitate road traffic and We are pleased to inform you that we have signed the "Agreement on Cooperation and Support for Expressway Management and Operation Projects" (hereinafter referred to as "this agreement") on June 15, 1945 for the purpose of ensuring safe transportation.
Under this agreement, NEXCO EAST Saku (Suga) aims to solve issues related to smooth road traffic and ensuring safe transportation with the cooperation of Chikuma Bus.
As specific efforts of this agreement, "examination of improvement of driving safety and comfort" (Fig. 1) and "construction of cooperation system for support of stagnant vehicles on Expressway using buses" (Fig. 2) I will do it.

As a trial effort, we will install equipment that can evaluate the ride quality on the Chikuma Bus route bus. Based on this measurement result, NEXCO EAST Saku (tube) will carry out "examination to improve ride quality".

In the event of a large-scale stalling due to an abnormal natural phenomenon such as heavy snow, a bus will be dispatched promptly at the request of NEXCO EAST Saku (Suga). By using the bus dispatched from Chikuma Bus as a waiting place on the Expressway, it will be possible to provide a space for simple meals and breaks for customers who cannot move.
