Tsurugashima City, Saitama Prefecture and NEXCO EAST Tokorozawa Management Office (Tokorozawa City, Saitama Prefecture) have been developing C4 Ken-o Expressway (hereinafter "Ken-O Road") Ken-O Tsurugashima Interchange (hereinafter "IC") A three-dimensional and four-lane access road (Tsurugashima City Route 1015) will open at 15:00 on Saturday, March 25, 2023.

7. 7. Expected maintenance effect

1. Attracting companies and revitalizing the local economy
   The construction of the access road will improve the convenience of transportation, further enhancing the attractiveness of the area around the Ken-O Tsurugashima IC. It is expected that the local economy will be revitalized by attracting companies that make use of this development effect.
2. Eliminate traffic congestion in surrounding areas and strengthen transportation networks
   The formation of a new traffic network through the development of access roads with four lanes will lead to the elimination of traffic congestion in the surrounding area, and the elevation of the Ken-O Tsurugashima IC will limit access Ken-O Road to the current National Route 407 direction. Instead, it will be possible from the direction of Route 927-2, so traffic will be smoother and the traffic network will be strengthened.
