3. Regarding transit adjustments due to suspension of traffic

For customers who temporarily flow out of Expressway due to road closures, detour around the road closure section, re-enter and transfer in the forward direction, we will implement "connection adjustment" to adjust the toll according to the section used. increase.

How to use transit adjustment

<< ETC customers >>

  • Customers using ETC are requested to run the outflow designated IC wirelessly and the re-inflow designated IC wirelessly. (No transit certificate will be issued for ETC vehicles)
  • ETC time zone discount will be applied, considering the transited journey as one.
Toll charges are adjusted at the time of billing, so they may differ from those displayed at the toll gate.
  • Insert the same ETC card for all journeys and pass through the ETC lane at the tollgate.

<< Customers for cash, etc. >>

  • Customers who pay by cash, etc. should receive the "passage certificate" at the outflow designated IC, and then get the "passport" at the re-inflow designated IC, and then make the "transfer" at the toll booth that pays the fare first. Please give us your "certificate" and "passport".

《Common to customers such as ETC and cash》

  • If the suspension of traffic is released after the outflow designated IC is released, the fare will be adjusted even if it is re-introduced from the IC (including the outflow designated IC) in the closed road section in the forward direction.

Four. Construction overview

At the Ipponmatsu Tunnel located between Asagi IC and Koshoku IC on the Nagano Out-bound Line, tunnel reinforcement work will be carried out to prevent road surface swelling and damage due to expansion of the tunnel ground.
During the nighttime closure on June 7 (Wednesday), work will be carried out to switch the central drainage pipe in the tunnel, and during the nighttime closure on June 20 (Tuesday), the lane where customers will be driving will be separated from the lane where the construction work will be carried out. We will install a protective fence for the purpose. Since these construction works cannot be carried out under normal lane restrictions, the construction work will be carried out after closing the road at night on weekdays when there is little traffic.

[Details of main construction]
In order to create a stronger ring-shaped structure for the tunnel where excessive force is applied from around the tunnel, an invert is installed to improve stability. Specifically, concrete (invert) will be installed to reinforce the bottom of the tunnel after the excavation of the road surface, and then paving work will be carried out to restore the road to a drivable one.

In order to minimize the inconvenience to customers, we will close the road at night on weekdays when the traffic volume is low, and carry out the construction work intensively and efficiently. We ask for your understanding and cooperation as this work is necessary for safe and comfortable use of Expressway.
