NEXCO EAST Yawara Management Office (Ken-O Road City, Ibaraki Prefecture) will hold a ceremony to present a commemorative gift to the first customers (from car number 1 to car number 5) to commemorate the opening of the C4 Ken-o Expressway (hereinafter "Ken-O Expressway") Tsukuba Nishi Smart Interchange (hereinafter "Smart IC") at 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 23, 2025. 3. 3. Contents of the event

​Five customers who apply in advance using the "4. Application Method" below will be selected by lottery to receive a "Certificate of Passage" and a "Souvenir." The order of cars 1 to 5 will also be decided by lottery and will be announced at that time.
The winner will be asked to use Ken-O Road the smart IC (inner loop) towards Saitama.

◆How to apply◆

• Please apply from the dedicated application form during the reception period.
• We do not accept applications over the phone.
• Tsukuba Nishi Smart IC is an ETC-only interchange, so you will need to use ETC.
• If the number of applicants exceeds the planned number, we will conduct a strict lottery.
• Notification of lottery results will be replaced by e-mail to the winners.

• On the day of the opening, waiting for the opening near Tsukuba Nishi Smart IC will be strictly prohibited as it will cause inconvenience to local residents.
