NEXCO EAST Kanto Regional Head Office (Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture) E4 We are pleased to announce that short-term parking spaces have been installed at the Nasu Kogen Service Area (hereinafter referred to as "SA") on the Tohoku Tohoku Expressway (hereinafter referred to as "Tohoku Expressway") in In-bound direction, and have begun operation on Thursday, March 6, 2025.
The "short-term parking spaces" aim to provide drivers of large vehicles with more reliable rest opportunities by designating some of the spaces as parking spaces for 60 minutes or less. Since the demonstration experiment began in November 2023, it has been confirmed that the number of vehicles using the space has increased and the turnover rate of the parking spaces has increased. Therefore, it has been decided to Large the installation of the space to provide more rest opportunities. Attachment-1 [PDF: 338KB] (See reference), and at Nasu Kogen SA (In-bound), we have also decided to provide large vehicle parking spaces (for 5 vehicles) as "short-term parking spaces."
When using the "short-term parking spaces," please follow the signs and road markings in the rest area. Leave within 60 minutes of parking We appreciate your cooperation in using the service appropriately so that it can be used by as many customers as possible.
