At NEXCO EAST Misato Management Office (Misato City, Saitama Prefecture), C3 A night-time closure will be implemented at the exit ramp of Wako Kita Interchange (hereinafter referred to as "IC") on the inner loop of Gaikan Expressway (hereinafter referred to as "Outer Ring Expressway") to carry out cable switching work for the ETC equipment.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we ask for your understanding and cooperation in allowing yourself plenty of time when heading out.

  • In stormy weather, it will be postponed to the spare day.
  • The decision to carry out construction will be announced on X (formerly Twitter) etc. around 5:00 pm on the day of construction.

2. Detour

Please refer to the detour route shown in the diagram below when making a detour.
The detour will increase travel time, so please allow yourself plenty of time when traveling.

 As indicated by the blue arrow, exit at Toda Higashi IC and take National Route 298.
The estimated travel time from Toda Higashi IC to the Wako Kita IC area is approximately 12 minutes (usually approximately 9 minutes).

3. Construction overview

At the exit ramp of the Wako Kita IC on the inner loop of the Outer Ring Road, we will be carrying out cable switching work for the ETC equipment, which will be an obstacle when installing the equipment on the bridge pier as part of the seismic reinforcement work. In order to carry out this work, it is necessary to close the ramp.
Therefore, in order to minimize inconvenience to our customers, we will close the ramps and carry out the work on weekdays at night when traffic volume is low. This work is necessary to ensure that customers can use Expressway safely and comfortably, so we ask for your understanding and cooperation.

Four. How to obtain traffic information

(1) Guidance by distribution / posting

  • Notice signs, posters and leaflets will be posted at toll booths and rest facilities nearby.

    The highway radio section is indicated by signs on the Expressway.
  • Highway Information Terminal
    We will inform you of road information in an easy-to-understand manner by the monitor screens installed in SA / PA.

    You can get road traffic information with VICS-compatible car navigation and other on-board devices.
  • Information is also distributed on official X (formerly Twitter) and LINE accounts.
