What is the Furakuishi amulet?
This talisman is made from rocks that "didn't fall" excavated during the Kitano Maki construction project, and is imbued with the symbolic meaning of "not failing" exams.
Last year, the handbags were distributed at the nearby Yokokawa SA and presented to high schools and junior high schools, which was covered by the media and became a hot topic.

2. What is Kitanomaki Construction?

Joshinetsu Highway Matsuida Myogi Matsuida Myogi Interchange (hereinafter referred to as "IC") ~ Located at the top of the Kitanomaki Tunnel (length 190m) located between the Usui Karuizawa Usuika Izawa IC (Kitanomaki) (Kitanomaki, Matsuida-cho, Anaka City, Gunma Prefecture) Approximately 95 rocks with an initial height of 70 m and an average inclination angle of 70°, It is a drastic rockfall countermeasure work that excavates and removes 000㎥.
Construction began in Heisei 29, and a temporary pier and incline (elevator that can accommodate two dump trucks at once) as a transportation path for excavation, and a rock shed (temporary roof on Expressway) and rock bolts (reinforcing bars to prevent rocks from falling from rock masses) were installed and constructed as safety measures during excavation. Full-scale excavation will begin in May of the 5th year of Reiwa, and all construction is scheduled to be completed in the 11th year of Reiwa.
At this event, we plan to ride the construction monorail and see heavy machinery such as huge cranes and excavation sites.
