NEXCO EAST Keihin Management Office (Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture) will be closing the ramps at Shinhodogaya Interchange (hereinafter referred to as "IC") on the E16 Yokohama-Shindo Road Shindo at night to install scaffolding for repainting work.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we ask for your understanding and cooperation in allowing yourself plenty of time when heading out.

   ① The ramp leading from Yokohama-Shindo Road In-bound lane to the Fujitsuka IC exit
   ②Ramp leading from Yokohama Yokosuka Road (In-bound) to Yokohama-Shindo Road In-bound)

   Implementation date:

   Wednesday, September 24th to Thursday, September 25th, 2020

   Every night from 10:30pm to 5am the next morning

   Preparation day:

   September 29th (Monday) to September 30th (Tuesday), 2020

   Every night from 10:30pm to 5am the next morning

2. Bus operation

When the ramps are closed at night, Sotetsu Bus (Route: Hama 17) that travels on Yokohama-Shindo Road In-bound lane will operate as usual.

3. Detour

For detours, please refer to the attached document [PDF: 380KB].
The detour will increase travel time, so please allow yourself plenty of time when traveling.

Four. work outline

Yokohama-Shindo Road　Hanging scaffolds will be installed at each ramp of the Shin-Hodogaya IC for the repainting work.
Since it is not possible to install the hanging scaffolds under normal lane restrictions, it is necessary to close the ramps at the Shin-Hodogaya Interchange for the work.
Therefore, to minimize inconvenience to customers, the ramp will be closed at night on weekdays when traffic volume is low, so that the work can be carried out in an intensive and efficient manner. Since this work is necessary for the safe and comfortable use of Expressway, we ask for your understanding and cooperation.

Five. How to obtain traffic information

(1) Guidance by distribution / posting

• Notice signs, posters and leaflets will be posted at toll booths and rest facilities nearby.
• A banner will be posted on the overpass on the Expressway.
