Recruiting theme

Eligibility and details

• For elementary and junior high school students (including elementary and junior high school students at special needs schools) who live or attend school in the one metropolitan area and seven prefectures under the jurisdiction of NEXCO EAST Kanto Regional Head Office ^(※)​
  • Ibaraki Prefecture, Tochigi Prefecture, Gunma Prefecture, Saitama Prefecture, Chiba Prefecture, Tokyo, Kanagawa Prefecture, and Nagano Prefecture
• Paper size: 8-cut paper (B4 size, approximately 27 x 38 cm) portrait or landscape orientation
• Any art materials are allowed (crayons, colored pencils, paints, etc.)
• Hand-drawn works only
• Please write your ① address, ② name, ③ affiliation (school name and grade), and ④ phone number on the back of your work.
• There is no limit to the number of works that can be submitted. Collaborative work is also permitted.

• Send your creation to the address below
  • Shipping costs etc. are the responsibility of the applicant.
• Deadline: Postmark valid by Friday, November 7, 2025

Judging and Awards

• The examination was conducted within NEXCO EAST Kanto Regional Head Office.
• Best work (1 point) / Excellent work (some points)
• The winning works will be displayed at service areas under the jurisdiction of NEXCO EAST Kanto Regional Head Office, on the official website, and at X!
• The winner of the best entry will receive a manatee stuffed animal, and all other applicants will receive an original NEXCO EAST novelty item!

• The shipping of the prize will serve as a substitute for the award.

Important points to note when creating and submitting a poster

• Regarding the poster design, since it is intended to widely appeal for traffic safety on Expressway, please ensure that the content calls for proper observance of traffic rules and manners.
• Submitted works cannot be returned.
• Submissions must be unpublished.
• The copyright (including the rights set forth in Articles 27 and 28 of the Copyright Act) and all other rights to the submitted work shall belong to NEXCO EAST, and the applicant shall not exercise any rights based on the moral rights of the author.
• The submitted works will be used in NEXCO EAST 's traffic safety awareness activities.
• Personal information related to applications will not be used for any purpose other than administrative procedures related to this recruitment.

• The names, ages, grades, and city/town names of the winners may be made public.
