NEXCO EAST Mito Management Office (Mito City, Ibaraki Prefecture) will be closing the ramps at night at the interchange (hereinafter referred to as "IC") on the E6 Joban Expressway (hereinafter referred to as "Joban Expressway") in order to carry out pavement repair work on the ramps.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we ask for your understanding and cooperation in allowing yourself plenty of time when heading out.

- Attached to each line E6 The indications such as indicate the route number (numbering) of Expressway.
- In stormy weather, it will be postponed to the spare day.
- Please see the attached document [PDF: 1.5MB] for information on backup dates and detours in case of postponement.
- After the construction work for closure ① is completed, the construction work for closure ② will be carried out, so closures ① and ② will not be carried out simultaneously.
- If Closure ②, Closure ③, or Closure ④ is postponed due to bad weather, construction will be carried out on a backup date after Wednesday, November 19th. The order of construction on the backup date will be ② ⇒ ③ ⇒ ④.
- The decision to carry out construction will be announced on X (formerly Twitter) etc. around 5:00 pm on the day of construction.
2. Detour
Please refer to Appendices 1 to 4 [PDF: 1.5MB] for detours.
The detour will increase travel time, so please allow yourself plenty of time when traveling.
3. Construction overview
Due to damage to the road surface at each interchange on Joban Expressway, pavement repair work will be carried out.
Since construction work cannot be carried out under normal lane restrictions, it is necessary to close the ramps to carry out the work. Therefore, in order to minimize inconvenience to customers, we will close the ramps at night on weekdays when traffic volume is low, and carry out the work in a concentrated and efficient manner. This work is necessary to ensure that customers can use Expressway safely and comfortably, so we ask for your understanding and cooperation.
