NEXCO EAST At the Tsukuba Construction Office (Tsukuba City, Ibaraki Prefecture), the ramps of Tomobe Junction (hereinafter referred to as "JCT") flowing from E6 Joban Expressway (hereinafter referred to as "Joban Expressway" to E50 Kita-Kanto Expressway (hereinafter referred to as "Kita-Kanto Expressway") and E50 from the North Kanto Expressway to E51 Higashi-Kanto Expressway (hereinafter referred to as "Higashi-Kanto Expressway") will be closed at night in order to carry out construction work associated with the extension of the Higashi-Kanto Expressway at each ramp of Ibaraki Town (Ibaraki Town) that flows into the Higashi-Kanto Expressway.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to our customers, but we ask for your understanding and cooperation so that you can have plenty of time when you go out.

2. Construction overview
Joban Expressway ・North Kanto Expressway Tomobe JCT and North Kanto Expressway Ibaraki Town JCT will carry out sign board replacement work due to the extension of the East Kanto Expressway. The section where this construction will be carried out is one lane, and since construction cannot be carried out with normal lane regulations when carrying out construction, it is necessary to close the ramp and carry out the work. Therefore, in order to avoid causing as much inconvenience as possible to customers, we will close the ramps on weekday nights when there is little traffic, and carry out the construction intensively and efficiently.
This is a necessary construction for you to use Expressway safely and comfortably, so we ask for your understanding and cooperation.
3. How to obtain traffic information
(1) Information for closing at night
- We will post posters and leaflets at toll booths and rest facilities nearby.
- A banner will be posted on the overpass on the Expressway.
