NEXCO EAST Keihin Management Office (Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture) will be closing the ramps of the E83E16 Yokohama-Shindo Road Interchange (hereinafter referred to as "IC") at night to replace signs, install color guide lane markings, and remove suspended scaffolding following the completion of repainting work.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we ask for your understanding and cooperation in allowing yourself plenty of time when going out.

2. Bus operation

When the ramps are closed at night, Sotetsu Bus (Route: Hama 17) that travels on Yokohama-Shindo Road In-bound lane will operate as usual.

3. Detour

For detours, please refer to Attachments 1 and 2 [PDF: 353KB].
The detour will increase travel time, so please allow yourself plenty of time when traveling.

Four. Construction overview

At each ramp of Yokohama-Shindo Road-Hodogaya IC, the suspended scaffolding will be removed following the completion of sign replacement work, color guide lane marking work, and repainting work.
The section where the work will be carried out is a one-lane road and ramp junction, and since the work cannot be carried out under normal lane restrictions, the ramp at Shinhodogaya IC must be closed to carry out the work.
Therefore, to minimize inconvenience to customers, we will close the ramps on weekday nights when traffic volume is low, and carry out the work in a concentrated and efficient manner. This work is necessary to ensure safe and comfortable use of Expressway, so we ask for your understanding and cooperation.

Five. How to obtain traffic information

• Notice signs, posters and leaflets will be posted at toll booths and rest facilities nearby.
• A banner will be posted on the overpass on the Expressway.
