About revision of national expense calculation amount pertaining to FY2007 Expressway toll social experiment

The Hokuriku Regional Development Bureau of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, East Nippon Expressway Co., Ltd. (NEXCO EAST), and Central Japan Expressway Co., Ltd. (NEXCO CENTRAL) are conducting toll social experiments to further effectively use the Expressway network. ..

In this experiment, the amount of impact* on the Expressway company's income due to the discount of tolls is to be borne by the national government, but recently, the calculation of the national borne amount for the experiment conducted in FY2007 was carried out. With regard to the above, it was found that corrections were necessary as described below, and the Expressway company returned the difference in the amount of measures to the national treasury.
