NEXCO EAST Shin-Etsu Construction Office (Joetsu City, Director: Kensaku Kubota) and Nagano Management Office (Nagano City, Director: Kaoru Sakamoto) have four lanes between the Joshin-Etsu Expressway Toyota Iiyama Interchange (IC) and Shinanomachi IC. Regarding lane regulation due to construction work, we will temporarily cancel the lane regulation for the Out-bound line (from Nagano to Joetsu) as a measure to alleviate traffic congestion.
By removing the above restrictions, you can comfortably travel between the Joshinetsu Expressway Toyota Iiyama IC and Shinanomachi IC (Out-bound) during the large holidays in September.
In addition, construction will be completed on the Out-bound line Joetsu area in early October and on the In-bound line Nagano area in late November, and all four lanes will be available.
