NEXCO EAST Niigata Regional Head Office (Chuo-ku, Niigata City) and Nexeria East Niigata Branch (Chuo-ku, Niigata City) are aiming to improve the self-sufficiency rate of domestic rice flour and to support reconstruction of the Tohoku region affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake. We will sell noodles using rice flour and a new menu utilizing ingredients of the Tohoku region at SA / PA in the jurisdiction.
The Nexeria East Japan Niigata Branch is registered as a support company for the "R10 Project" from Niigata, which Niigata Prefecture has been disseminated all over the country, as well as an awareness campaign from the area to spread domestic rice flour and improve the food self-sufficiency rate. However, I would like to contribute to the efforts of "Food Action Nippon" and Niigata Prefecture.
1 Implementation period
From June 1, 2012 to March 31, 2013
2 Implementation contents
We will develop and provide a collaborative menu that utilizes noodles made from rice flour from Niigata Prefecture and ingredients from the Tohoku region at restaurants and snack corners.
3 Implementation location and target menu
[Example of menu]
[Yoneyama SA (In-bound Line) Restaurant]
● Uses 30% of Niigata rice flour
○ Use of "beef" from Miyagi prefecture or Aomori prefecture
[Echigo Kawaguchi SA (Out-bound) restaurant]
●Using 30% of "rice flour" from Niigata Prefecture
○ Using "Tsugaru chicken" from Aomori prefecture
[Large PA (In-bound) snacks]
● Uses 20% of "rice flour" produced in Niigata Prefecture
○ Using "Iwanaka pork" from Iwate prefecture
