NEXCO EAST Niigata branch (Niigata city Chuo Ward)E49 In some sections of Ban-Etsu Expressway between Mikawa IC and Yasuda IC, installation work (*1) for additional lanes, which we have been promoting as a traffic safety measure for face-to-face traffic sections, has been completed. November 2 (Thu) 15:00 From, an additional lane of about 1.5km will be extended to about 3.5km.
By extending the additional lanes including these tunnels, it is expected that the safety of customers will be increased and that smooth and comfortable driving with less stress will be expected.
In addition, the lane switching work that was carried out in this section from the end of August will be completed in time with the completion. We apologize for the inconvenience to our customers over the long term, and we thank you for your understanding and cooperation in this work.
