NEXCO EAST Niigata Regional Head Office (Chuo-ku, Niigata City) E18 Joshin-Etsu Expressway (upper and lower lines) between Nakago Interchange (IC) and Joetsu Junction (JCT) will be closed at night due to 4-lane construction.
We apologize for the inconvenience to our customers, but we ask for your understanding and cooperation, as it is a closed road that is required to use four lanes and to use the Expressway safely and comfortably.

Road closure period
* Closed every day from 20:00 to 6:00 the next morning
Lane switching
From Saturday, September 28, some lanes will change between Nakago IC and Arai PA (Out-bound). We apologize for any inconvenience caused to passengers traveling on the section, but we ask for your continued efforts to drive safely.
Please note that the schedule may change depending on the weather and construction progress.
