NEXCO EAST Niigata Regional Head Office (Chuo-ku, Niigata City) would like to inform you that it has compiled traffic conditions for the New Year holiday period (Thursday, December 28, 2023 to Thursday, January 4, 2024: 8 days).

- The average daily traffic volume in the representative section was 103% compared to last year.
- Traffic volume during the period peaked on December 30th (Saturday) on both In-bound and Out-bound lines.
- There were no traffic jams of 5km or more.
- This traffic volume includes road closures caused by the 2024 Noto Peninsula earthquake.
